Automatic Rotor Pump Chocolate Spread Filling Machine for Jars is designed for accurate and efficient filling of thick, viscous food products such as chocolate spread, hazelnut spread, cocoa cream, peanut butter and other paste-type products.
The high viscosity and temperature-sensitive flow characteristics of chocolate spreads pose a challenge for filling using conventional liquid filling equipment. The filling system is a servo-controlled rotor pump which ensures smooth delivery of the product from the hopper to the filling nozzles, to guarantee stable filling performance, and assist in achieving consistent portion control.
It is suitable for filling chocolate spread into glass jars, PET jars, plastic containers and other rigid packaging formats, and it can be integrated into automatic jar feeding, capping, labelling and packaging equipment to form a complete production line.
Main Features
The rotor pump filling system is particularly suited for thick and paste-like products.
It allows stable product delivery even when filling chocolate spreads and nut-based spreads that flow much more slowly than conventional liquids.
This enables the machine to be used for both small retail jars and larger food-service containers.
The use of a servo-driven filling system enables precise control of the rotor pump operation.
The filling volume and filling speed can be adjusted by the control interface according to different recipes and container sizes.
That gives:
Also, different filling recipes can be set according to the needs of the production.
Chocolate spread viscosity is very temperature dependent.
For products that require controlled temperature during filling, the machine can be fitted with a jacketed heating hopper to assist in maintaining a suitable product flow during production.
The heating system reduces problems caused by product thickening during long filling runs.
An optional temperature-control system can be arranged according to the characteristics of the customer’s chocolate spread.
When making chocolate spreads, nut butters and the like in continuous production, a uniform product consistency is important.
An optional hopper agitator can continuously mix the product at a controlled speed to help maintain a more uniform texture prior to filling.
The mixing function is especially valuable for products that contain oils, cocoa ingredients, nut pastes or other components that may separate during processing.
The filling nozzle is designed to help provide clean dispensing into jars, while minimising dripping and unnecessary product waste.
Depending on the product and production requirements, the machine can be equipped with:
The filling system can thus be adapted to different jar openings, filling speeds and product viscosities.
Application of the machine: Food processing.
Food-grade stainless steel and sanitary materials can be used for the construction of product-contact parts, depending on the machine configuration required.
The product-contact system is designed for cleaning and routine maintenance to help operators become more efficient at product changeovers.
We also offer sanitary fittings and tailor-made cleaning configurations for more hygienically demanding applications.

The rotary lobe pump filling machine uses servo motor to drive the rotary lobe pump accurately. The pump has two rotors, rotating in opposite directions simultaneously, with sealed chambers between the rotors and the pump housing. The positive displacement design ensures smooth product transfer and accurate volumetric filling.
1. Product Suction The volume of the inlet side increases with the rotation of the rotors. The product is drawn from the supply hopper or tank into the pump chamber.
2. Product Transfer The product is held in the sealed chambers between the rotors and the pump housing. The rotors are turning and the product is moving slowly from the inlet to the outlet side.
This operating principle makes rotary lobe pump filling systems particularly suitable for viscous, semi-viscous and particulate-containing products.
3. Product Discharge Once the product reaches the outlet side, the chamber volume is reduced, pushing the product out of the pump and down the filling nozzle into the container.
4. Precise Fill Control The pump is a positive displacement pump and therefore provides a known volume per revolution. The filling volume can be accurately controlled by:
Filling Volume = Displacement per Revolution x Number of Revolutions
The PLC controls the rotation, speed and angular position of the servo motor. This allows the system to control the exact quantity of product dispensed in each fill cycle.
5. Anti-Drip Control The pump stops immediately after the preset filling volume is reached. The pump may also briefly reverse before the filling nozzle closes to create a suck-back effect, depending on the product and machine configuration.
This helps to reduce dripping, stringing and product residue at the nozzle and helps to keep containers and the filling area cleaner.
The servo motor + rotary lobe pump + PLC control + anti-drip filling system combination provides accurate dosing, smooth product handling, repeatable filling performance and flexible adjustment for different products and filling volumes.
It is suitable for a wide range of products like sauces, pastes, creams, syrups, oils, condiments, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and other viscous or semi-viscous liquids.
